Conditions of entry at MOVE Moonee Valley
To ensure a pleasant and secure environment for all our members and guests, please take a moment to review our venue conditions of entry.

Our venues
- Children under 10 must wear a yellow wristband and be accompanied into the facility and actively supervised by a parent or guardian who is age 16 years and over.
The parent or guardian must have clear, constant and direct access to the child at all times.
Parents and guardians must not be supervising more than 4 children under 10 at the same time. - Children under 5 must wear a pink wristband and be constantly supervised and remain within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian who is age 16 years and over.
If the child is the water, the parent or guardian must be too.
Parents or guardians must not be supervising more than 2 children under 5 at the same time. - Weak or non-swimmers are to identify themselves to reception and lifeguard staff.
- Smoking/vaping and the use of E-Cigarettes is not permitted within the grounds of MOVE Moonee Valley facilities.
- Ball games and pool inflatables are not permitted within the grounds of MOVE Moonee Valley facilities.
- Please make staff aware of any pre-existing medical conditions.
- Offensive language, aggressive behaviour, littering, spitting, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted at any time.
- To ensure a safe and fun environment, the following are prohibited:
- Alcohol or drugs.
- Glass or glass water bottles.
- Photography of any kind is prohibited unless permission is given by management.
- Management reserves the right to search belongings before entering the facility and while using the facility.
- Personal belongings (including sports bags) should be securely stored in the lockers available. The facility accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings. Management will not take responsibility for personal items left unattended in the facility.
- Seek medical advice prior to using the spa pool, sauna and steam facilities if you are concerned that these heated environments may adversely affect you, or if you have existing medical conditions.
- Management reserves the right to close any part of the facility at any time.
- Mobile phones are not permitted to be used in change rooms.
- CCTV is in operation throughout MOVE Moonee Valley facilities.
- Membership passes must be scanned each time, or a casual entry fee paid to allow access to the facility.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any persons from the Centre for any breach of these conditions.
Health Club
- Persons who are pregnant, suffer from heart disease, have physical injuries, have medical conditions that restrict their ability to exercise or are over the age of 50 must consult with a medical practitioner before participating in fitness activities.
- If you feel ill or require assistance please see a staff member.
- Persons under the age of 16 must participate only in supervised activities.
- All patrons are requested to carry their membership card or casual pass and gym towel with them at all times.
- Free weights should not be dropped and equipment should not be rested on benches. No other weights should be added to pin loaded equipment.
- Please ensure all equipment is returned to the designated storage area after use.
- All equipment is to be wiped down after each use.
- Food, alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted.
- Personal belonging (including sports bags) should be securely stored in the lockers available.
- Patrons are requested to share equipment with other users (including in rest breaks between sets).
- Please consider the enjoyment and wellbeing of others.
- Please ensure appropriate gym attire is worn; the following are NOT appropriate gym attire:
- Denim clothing
- Work wear
- Open toed shoes
Aquatic areas
- Children under 10 must wear a yellow wristband and be accompanied into the facility and constantly supervised by a parent/guardian over the age of 16.
The parent or guardian must have clear, constant and direct access to the child at all times. - Children under 5 must wear a pink wristband and be constantly supervised and remain within arm’s reach of a parent/guardian.
If the child is the water, the parent or guardian must be too. - Non swimmers and weak swimmers are to identify themselves to the lifeguards.
- Please make staff aware of any pre-existing medical conditions.
- To ensure a safe and fun environment, everyone is required to:
- avoid swimming if you are unwell or have had diarrhoea in the past 2 weeks
- ensure that suitable swimwear is worn at all times
- refrain from swallowing pool water
- follow staff instructions at all times
- Please observe all signage and note that the following are NOT permitted:
- Diving
- Bombing
- Running
- Balls
- Glass
- Photography (including video & mobile phone camera)
- In an emergency please follow the lifeguards instruction.
