Our story
Welcome to MOVE, Moonee Valley’s face for Council-owned leisure facilities, launched in January 2021. MOVE is here to bring the vision of a healthy city to life, offering a variety of programs and services to help our community stay active, healthy, and well. Whether you’re looking for fitness, fun, or relaxation, MOVE is your go to for all your health and leisure needs.
MOVE Moonee Valley brings together all of the Council’s aquatic, health, and fitness facilities, with a range of offerings at each location. With MOVE’s flexible membership options, you’ll have reciprocal rights at any MOVE facility, giving you greater choice and access to fitness opportunities across Moonee Valley. Our goal is to create a seamless and enjoyable experience, no matter which facility you choose.
At Ascot Vale Leisure Centre, we cater to the health and leisure needs of the entire community. Our facility features a fully equipped lifestyle gym with a variety of cardio equipment and weights, as well as a functional training area and group exercise classes. Our stadium, wellness and cycle studios offer over 100 group fitness classes to enjoy. For those looking to unwind, Ascot Vale Leisure Centre’s 25-metre indoor pool, aqua play features, warm water pool, spa, sauna, and steam facilities provide the perfect space to relax and recharge.
At Keilor East Leisure Centre, we’ve taken things to the next level with the newly developed facility – Moonee Valley’s largest capital works project to date. This state-of-the-art facility combines wellness and leisure in one location, offering both indoor and outdoor pools, a fully equipped gym, group fitness, wellness and cycle studios, and a dedicated kids’ water playground. The centre also features a warm water program pool, spa, sauna, steam rooms, a café, childcare services, and much more.
At Queens Park Swimming Pool, we have a 50m swimming pool, learn to swim pool, shaded toddlers pool with frog slide as well as huge grass areas, clean and comfortable change rooms and kiosk for the whole family to come and enjoy.

Our facilities
Health Club
We offer a wide variety of health and fitness facilities including a fully equipped gym, group exercise classes, Reformer Pilates, B Active Functional Training, Personal Training and Exercise Physiology.
Group Exercise
Group Exercise classes are a great social way to help build your confidence, motivation and accountability whilst making you smile. Our timetable features classes ranging from strength-based through to wellness.
Aquatic
Our aquatic facilities feature indoor heated pools, an outdoor 50m pool, hydrotherapy pool to support recovery as well as Learn to Swim pool and splash park for the little ones to enjoy.
Swimming Lessons
GOswim swimming and water safety lessons are a fun and engaging way for kids and adults to learn to swim and be safe in aquatic environments. Suitable for infants from 6 months of age through to adults and offered all year round.
Cafe/Kiosk
After building up an appetite in the gym or swimming pool, be sure to visit our Cafe offering a range of healthy snacks, coffee and food options.
Childcare
Our Childcare facility is designed to assist parents and guardians getting active in our venue with peace of mind knowing that your child is being taken care of in a safe, supportive, well equipped environment.
